The Bell Hotel is a Grade II Listed Georgian hotel occupying a prominent position in the centre of Saxmundham, a historic market town close to Aldeburgh on the Suffolk Heritage Coast.

The Bell’s award-winning Restaurant serves superb Modern British cuisine, and has been reviewed by many national newspapers – including The Guardian, The Independent, The Observer – and appears in ‘Good Food Guides’.

Chef-proprietor Andrew Blackburn creates distinctive menus based on Traditional English dishes and French cuisine, using fresh seasonal ingredients sourced locally. Menus change approximately every six weeks, plus special menus are created for Christmas, New Year, Valentines, Mother’s Day, etc.

Choose between the A La Carte Menu (prices start at just… Starters – £5.95; Main courses – £13.50; desserts – £5.95) or the exceptional value of the Table d’Hote Menu (Luncheon – £12.95 for 2 course, £15.75 for 3 courses; Dinner – £19.50 for 3 courses.) and the ‘Market Luncheon’ Menu (changes daily) – £7.50 for 2 courses, or £10.00 for 3 courses. House wines from £2.50 per glass. 

The Bell also has accommodation, an open air courtyard and they are happy to cater for weddings, functions and parties as well as having a seperate lounge available for pre-dinner drinks or coffee.
